India lists 23 companies barred from doing defence business since 2006

New Delhi: India today listed a total of 23 global and domestic aerospace and defence companies that are barred or suspended from doing business since at least 2006.

In a mandatory notification, the Ministry of Defence listed globally well-known companies such as the Agusta Westland International Limited from the United Kingdom, Israel Military Industries Limited, Corporation Defence of Russia, Rheinmetall Air Defence from Zurich, Italian Leonardo S. p. A. among the big names that are either barred or suspended from doing defence business in India.
